We are looking for another Group Sales & Events Coordinator / Manager (depending on experience) to join our team.
You will be responsible for selling and servicing events, as well as coordinating groups with on-site room reservations. This position requires working closely with the Resort Management Team in contracting negotiations and servicing groups as they relate to catering and event services.
Primary sales efforts are in banquet food, beverage and meeting room rental. It may include menu planning, agenda setting, hotel meeting services, hospitality amenities, and special VIP requests.
Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post events, with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.
This position serves as a vital liaison between all resort departments and other hotel staff members. Group Sales & Events Team members host hotel tours, develop & maintain strong customer relationships, participate in (and may sometimes lead) event meetings, while also working as a team member with both the Sales and the Food & Beverage staff.
The Group Sales & Events Team members will consistently provide a high-level of exposure for SCBR in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone contact, written communication and involvement in the community.
