We're in search of a Growth Marketing Manager with a keen focus on paid social at Freebird, a rapidly growing men's personal care DTC brand. This role is pivotal in our growth strategy, and your primary responsibility will be the expert management of a monthly ad spend exceeding $1M. Beyond numbers, you'll delve deep into understanding our audience, ensuring both performance creative and landing page experiments improve over time, with data-driven insights and learnings.

Daily tasks won't just be about analyzing campaign performance; it's the bigger picture, the story behind the data. Mastery over the nuances of ad creatives, audience-centric funnel optimizations, and landing page experiences will be essential. While you'll primarily drive our paid social endeavors, especially on platforms like Facebook and TikTok, your collaboration with our performance creative and eCommerce teams will be the key to our collective success.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Paid Social Management: Expertly own and optimize over $1M+ monthly spend on paid social platforms, primarily Facebook (Meta) and TikTok, ensuring consistent optimization, experimentation, and enhancements.
  • Audience Strategy & Funnel Optimization: Dive deep into audience personas, understand their journey stages, and tailor campaigns to ensure they encounter resonating creatives, messaging, and landing page experiences.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work in tandem with performance creative and eCommerce teams, harmonizing strategies, offers, landing pages, and more to create a holistic and effective growth strategy.
  • Creative & Offer Strategy: Influence creative directions based on paid media insights, determine landing pages in line with ad angles, and periodically suggest appealing promotional strategies for optimal conversion.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to refine marketing strategies, understand attribution models, and ensure the best ROI across marketing channels. Harness the power of data for actionable insights and strategic decisions.
  • Campaign Personalization & Credibility: Lead initiatives using whitelisting techniques to boost brand authenticity and create personalized ad experiences.

Requirements

  • Paid Social Expertise: 3+ years in growth marketing with mastery in Facebook (Meta) and TikTok, preferably for a fast-scaling DTC brand or performance marketing agency.
  • Strategic Depth: Proven capability to strategize impactful campaigns by delving deep into audience personas and angles.
  • Creative & Offer Acumen: Experience in managing a diverse set of creative assets and understanding of offer testing to enhance Average Order Value (AOV).
  • Data Analytics: Strong experience in extracting actionable insights from vast data sets, preferably with tools like Google Analytics, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Holistic Marketing Understanding: Comprehensive grasp of various attribution models and the interplay of different marketing channels to ensure optimal resource allocation for best ROI.
  • Proactive Approach: A hands-on attitude with an emphasis on continuous optimization and alignment with overarching goals.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to articulate findings, strategies, and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with analytics and performance-tracking tools relevant to the role.
