Guidewire Policy Center Software Engineer

Northwest Partners is looking for a Guidewire Software Engineer with Policy Center experience to work with our client in Financial Services. This position is based in Jacksonville, FL, but open for 100% remote candidates anywhere in the US. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the US. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment Visa at this time. As great Guidewire Policy Center developer you will: Provide technical consulting and support on Policy Center. You will act as a technical resource in the many phases of the development and implementation process. You will conduct code and design reviews, develop code, unit test and sign off on technical specifications including design documents, functional designs and requirements. You will participate in the estimation process as required. You will provide on-call production support assistance in addition to defect resolutions (planned and unplanned). All development will follow Service Oriented Architecture patterns. As An Ideal Candidate, You Bring: - 3+ years of Guidewire experience including Policy Center, solid background of Single Page Application (SPA) development.
- 2+ years of experience with Guidewire Policy Center/EDGE API.
- 7+ years of Information Technology experience.
- Solid frontend development skills with demonstrated project experience in JavaScript, CSS, SASS, HTML5, AngularJS, Node.js, NPM, Grunt, Webpack
- Solid understanding of Enterprise Software technologies Spring, JDBC, SQL, REST, SOAP, JMS, Eclipse, Git, Gosu, Web Services
- Experience working in DevOps environment, Jenkins, CI/CD, GIT
