As a Gypcrete Laborer, you play an integral role in creating quality apartments for our residents to call home for years to come. You will work with our team in new construction, building apartments from the ground up. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, detail-oriented, and communicate effectively.

From Apprentice 1 through Journeyman, we paid:

1. Journeyman - $40.00/hr.
2. Apprentice 4 - $37.00/hr.
3. Apprentice 3 - $33.00/hr.
4. Apprentice 2 - $28.00/hr.
5. Apprentice 1 - $23.00/hr.
   

As a Gypcrete Laborer, you will be responsible for:

• Assist with gypcrete activities.
• installing gypcrete on wood and steel subfloors
• Assist with flooring activities.
• Safely perform general labor tasks, including power tools and common hand tools.
• Properly maintain all equipment, formwork, and tools, so they are in safe and reliable working condition.
• Work in a kneeling, crouching or bent over position on a frequent basis.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including a hard hat, high-vis apparel, and additional protection as required by the task.
• Work in a variable environment, both indoors and outdoors. Work during inclement weather when required, including extreme heat/cold.
• Communicate effectively with your crew lead, foreman, and superintendent on safety, task questions, and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Gypcrete experience.
• Flooring experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Proficient in using tools
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed
• Ability to lead

Other Requirements

• A can-do attitude
• Must pass criminal background check
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle with proper insurance
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
