General Job duties - Types of procedures required: Care for laboring mom, assist with delivery, and immediate care of newborn and post-delivery care for mom.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. : Computerized system-Meditech and Fetal monitoring system - GE/Centricity
Required skills and minimum years of experience: Labor and delivery skills with a minimum of 3 years.
Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS & NRP (REQUIRED) STABLE & Advance FM (RECOMMENDED)
Shift or schedule requirements. Variable - Day and Night shifts available - 12 Hour shifts (36 hours weekly) (link removed) Scheduled 12 hours call at least once/month. No guarantee of hours or shift preference.Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.L&D 8 Labor Beds; Postpartum 18 Beds
