HR Generalist, Gretna, LA 70063


Looking for:

• Senior HR Generalist role
• Production laboratory experience
• Supporting hourly workforce - the site runs 24*7. Will also support the sister lab in the Richmond facility.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience.
• Supporting site and the leaders in site with employee engagement activity planning, payrolls, etc.
• Must be able to answer questions coming from employees at the site related to leaves or payroll
• Had experience with high-level confidentiality and working independently. Set up I9, onboarding activities for employees at the site.
• Will not work on sourcing employees and screening them, but more on typical HR capacity where they will support leaders on their requirements: Succession planning, Engagement activity planning, Leadership support
• Has worked in an organization for a long time and has not moved a lot. Have become expertise over time and have not hopped a lot from one company to another.
• Potentially have worked as an HR with corporate infrastructure.
• The HR manager and HR Junior Manager will be ideal titles.
• Employee relations, Recruiter, and Benefits Analyst titles will not be fit as they will not get involved in employee issues or will not be hiring.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources.
• Minimum 5 years experience working as an HR manager.
• Open to High School diploma if they have a minimum of 7 years experience.
• Background checks will be done by suppliers and education must be verified by them as this is a must-have to have some education.
