Installs HVAC systems and products according to the manufacturers specifications. Ensures all work performed is done professionally, timely and accurately according to all policies and procedures.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Works safely when performing installations of HVAC equipment.

• Follows all company policies and procedures for the type of installation being performed.
• Follows directions provided by the Lead Installer related to the scope of work.
• Ensures that all work is completed according to manufacturer specification(link removed)
• Has knowledge of the refrigeration cycle including refrigeration recovery, evacuation, and charging.
• Wires both line and low voltage to heating cooling equipment and water heaters.
• Premeasures jobs to identify proper materials required for scope of work.

• Installs copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.
• Installs sheet metal and flex duct systems in manufactured hones residential and light commercial buildings.
• Properly connects gas lines to equipment.

• Performs all readings on test instruments and understands the importance of these readings.

Requirements

• Completion of a trade program in an applicable field is preferred.
• One (1) year of experience of HVAC installation.
• Working knowledge of HVAC installation, start up, related HVAC tools and test instruments.
• Must be EPA 608 certified.
• Demonstrates strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to work on-call and overtime hours required.
• Maintains a valid drivers license, an acceptable MVR, and a medical certification card in order to drive to local job sites on a daily basis in a company vehicle if required by the authority having jurisdiction
