Eco-Staff, LLC is currently hiring for an Experienced HVAC Service Technician for a DIRECT HIRE position located in Rockville, MD area.

 



The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, dedicated HVAC Service Technician responsible for installing, inspecting, and fixing customers' heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Must have extensive experience handling, installing, and fixing HVAC equipment, and be comfortable working with little to no supervision.

 



HVAC Service Technician Requirements:

 



Responsible for installing and/or servicing products and equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction.



Performs maintenance and service repairs on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units



Familiar with Flat Rate Pricing



Ability to engage with Customers and discuss options



Installs new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines



Able to solder and braze refrigerant systems, evacuate systems by procedure, and charge R-22 and R-410a systems by both super heat and sub cooling



Wire in control systems



Troubleshoot and repair low voltage and high voltage circuits, boilers, heat pumps, IAQ systems, and gas furnaces (including modulating)



Possess general knowledge of oil furnaces and be able to clean and service boilers



Troubleshoot and repair defrost cycle and refrigerant cycle problems



Configure variable speed systems for dehumidification and heat staging



Complete paperwork and submit in a timely manner

 



Journeymen HVAC Service Technician Qualifications:

 



4 to 5 years experience



High School diploma/GED is required



Valid state-issued driver's license and the ability to operate a service vehicle



EPA Universal certification is required; NATE and or Journeyman Mech certification is preferred



Owns the appropriate hand tools, gauges, and meters
