A Hadoop developer is responsible for the design, development and operations of systems that store and manage large amounts of data. Most Hadoop developers have a computer software background and have a degree in information systems, software engineering, computer science, or mathematics.

This role is a support role

Duration 6 months with possible extension

Onsite only due to the makeup of staffing model and team dynamics

Shift- M-F 8-5 but can vary as this is a support role



Resources will be working on project initiatives.



6-7 + years experience

Resource needs extensive knowledge in Hadoop- manager stressed this.

Needs to know how ETL works

Will be lifting data, writing complex codes and transformations. Performing code reviews.

Abinitio knowledge preferred but not required- manager and team willing to train on abinitio



Required- Hadoop with spark/scala

Also required - hands on experience with migration process- how it works and on the development side.



Experience working in a production support environment preferred.



Manager wants to see resumes that have demonstrated leadership skills.
