Full-Time Stylist Assistant. Our salon is fantastic! Assistants need to be dependable, energetic, punctual, professional , happy to be at work and hardworking. We need someone who wants to work Tuesday-Friday 9 am-6:30 pm and every other Saturday as per the stylist’s schedule. As our assistant the position is an important part of the salon. Assistants will build strong relationships with each client. Assistants help keep the stylist and client appointment running smooth. Working with the stylist as an assistant, you will be working as the right hand of the stylist. There are techniques to learn on a daily basis while working on the salon floor with us as your build confidence and knowledge you need to be your unique stylist. Staying focused, on your feet and present during the workday is key to learning. Observing, asking questions, helping formulate, assisting during applications, are all part of what will make you a great stylist. These are all the building blocks that will make you into your creative technician.

You will be working side by side with 2 senior stylists while building confidence and knowledge. Consultation, color formulation, color and foil techniques, styling, hair cutting, inventory, multitasking and so much more. Aside from the day to day education the salon also has continuing education that everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend. Assistants will bring in monthly models of their choosing to learn hands on going through service chosen with us step by step. This will help build skills, confidence, consultation skills, formulation, and learn techniques with you as the stylist.
