Position Title: Hardware Development Engineer II

Location: Boston, Massachusetts


Position Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test mechanical hardware systems. Drive key aspects of product definition, development and testing. Create detailed test plans and drive execution of these plans through all phases of product development. Own CAD drawings and product specifications. Work with cross-functional interdisciplinary teams to deliver cost effective, manufactural, and reliable systems.

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and four years of experience as a Hardware Development Engineer or a related occupation. Must have four years of experience in the following skill(s): • Designing and delivering complex electro-mechanical products; • Hardware design; • Using mechanical engineering development tools such as SolidWorks, Creo and Ansys; • Mechanical validation engineering; and • Design for manufacturing, design for assembly, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Domestic and/or international travel required up to 5%. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
