Hardware Intern to join our team in
Wichita, KS for the
Summer of 2024(link removed) This is a hands-on position designed to provide a college student the opportunity to
have one-on-one mentorship with leaders and gain valuable experience and opportunities to impact the local community The program will also include rotations through our bank departments and professional development sessions. This is a full-time paid internship
and will run approximately 2 months in the Summer of 2024.
As the Hardware Intern you will have the opportunity to work with our Technology Operations Manager and Innovation and Strategy team. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, detail -oriented, quick learner and has basic technical skills. Some of your responsibilities will include hardware replacement and installing upgrades to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
The Emprise Internship
During this Summer program an intern can expect to learn industry best practices within financial institutions. This would include professional communication in different scenarios, collaborating across departments on projects, and utilizing platforms/tools used across a variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities:
Hardware/Software Installation
Assist with the install and configuration of corporate software and hardware
Install upgrades and test to insure optimal performance
Collaborate with other network personnel to ensure efficient operation of the companys computing environment
Incident Response
Assist with performance of incident responses and emergency network outages in accordance with plans
Assist with post-incident training efforts related to systems and hardware
Responsibility
Basic onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution for end users
Assist with recommendation and implementation of solutions.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled and pursing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology
- Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and hardware
- Ability to treat highly confidential information with the utmost integrity.
- Ability to work Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, 40 hours a week
