Job Description

Job title:
As a Hardware System Test Engineer you be an integral part of a group of world-class Systems Test Engineers that ensure the high quality and standards compliance of our patient monitoring devices to help save lives all over the world.

You are a part of

the global Hardware Test Engineering organization within the Hospital Patient Monitoring business. You have a direct reporting line to one of the subgroup leaders located in Boeblingen Germany.

Your role:
Develop reproducible and maintainable test and verification methodologies for electronic hardware elements and subsystems according to design input specifications and real-world usage scenarios.
Definition, execution and reporting of tests in close alignment with the R&D development engineers.
Analysis and post-processing of measurement data using statistical techniques.
Prepare technical documentation in accordance with internal procedures and applicable medical device regulations/standards (per ISO 13485, 21CR820, IEC60601-1, IEC60601-x-x and GDP)
Support troubleshooting activities to determine the root cause of the problem Contribute to the functional continuous improvement plan and knowledge base.
Provide guidance and support to team members in the development of test methods and test equipment.
Collaborate and communicate effectively in cross-functional teams.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics/electrical engineering with a broad technical understanding and interest.
Total of 7+ years of experience including 3+ years in electronics design (electronics development and verification)
Additional experience working in an electrical test lab, including experience designing, documenting, and performing test procedures is a plus.
Good understanding of the hardware/software development life cycle
Knowledge of MSA methodology/test method validation and statistical techniques a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you have demonstrated in projects that you can proactively address issues and convince others (colleagues).
International mindset and willingness to work closely with other cultures and backgrounds
Curiosity and entrepreneurial skills (you know how to structure your projects and find solutions together with your team)
Creative and problem-solving skills that allow you to leverage internal and external resources to maximize value for the company and its customers
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
