Aeris Technologies Inc. is seeking a Hardware Test Electronics Engineer to join our team in Princeton, New Jersey.

As Hardware Test Electronics Engineer at Aeris Technologies, you will help troubleshoot existing hardware and assist in bring-up and characterization of cutting-edge hardware prototypes.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with troubleshooting existing circuitry and developing fixes with relevant manufacturing personnel.
  • Bring-up and characterize new circuitry, document performance statistics, determine pass/fail criteria, and determine routes for performance improvements.
  • Develop methodical circuitry test plans and reporting from schematics and layouts.
  • Participate in schematic and layout design and review.
  • Capability to design hardware test probe jigs and create circuit and wiring diagrams.
  • Hybrid work schedule in Princeton, New Jersey to use electronic test equipment.


Requirements

  • Experience with handling sensitive electronic components.
  • Advanced use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Advanced electronics rework soldering capability - including micro surface mount rework.
  • Basic statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with a laboratory data processing/automation environment such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, etc.
  • Basic familiarity with Solidworks or other modeling software.
  • Excellent writing and data visualization skills

  • Salary range: $80,000-$90,000
