Hardware Test Engineer Work Location: Jersey City, NJ (Look for nearby candidates as 2nd round will be F2F)Visa: Any visa independent candidate.Local to Jersey city , NJ needed.Position type: W2 contract (Direct hire) Looking for a true Hardware Testing Engineer to work in a Research & Development type role. Should have strong background in testing servers and GPUs for data centers and enterprise computers. They should be very strong with rack and proxy servers for data centers. Experience testing GPUs. Very strong understanding of Linux Experience writing automation scripts, (Ansible, or Terraform) (bare metal automation) Excellent troubleshooting skills. Should have VMware knowledge Advanced knowledge in the following key areas:Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)Design (compliance, security)Network Engineering (planning, provision)Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technologyAdvanced understanding of best practices and policiesDemonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budgetAbility to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable termsMust be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define andimplement a working architectureTechnical certifications as requiredNice to have:RackNDigital RebarLiquid cooling (knowledge on technique for data centers)
