The Xbox DVT Software Automation Team is actively bringing up new services and tools to support an ongoing effort of qualifying Xbox hardware. We provide many services to the rest of the Xbox HW validation group in the form of workflow enablement and automated environments. In order to serve our customer needs, we are looking for a Hardware Test Lab Manager who can help manage most of the day-to-day operational/administrative activities for our newest lab while also providing improvements to both workflows and automation across the org. This is an opportunity to work with many different customers and technologies spanning low level IoT devices to high level network appliances and cloud services.

Salary: $39.00 $41.00 based on Experience

Responsibilities:

• Rack and stack of infrastructure, appliances, and test devices
• Testbench setup/tear down
• Infrastructure issues triage/resolution
• Lab Hygiene (requests for recycling/trash pickups, repairs, etc.)
• Logistics (equipment receiving/shipping/handling)
• Inventory control (stores/reserves ordering, itemizing, storage organization)

Requirements

• BS or equivalent in Computer Science /engineering
• Datacenter operations experience a plus
• Strong results orientation with a dedicated partner focus
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills with a systematic and structured approach to solution design
• High tolerance to ambiguity and ability make progress in the face of it
• Passion for customers, technology, and Xbox games
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with partners
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
