Job DescriptionResponsibilty Setting Quality Standards: Person is responsible for setting up quality standards in line with both organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. Developing Quality Control Processes: Person is responsible for creating and establishing processes to monitor and measure quality, consistency, and reliability of products or services. Monitoring and Auditing: Ensure periodic checks, inspections, and audits to verify that processes are being followed and the desired quality is achieved. Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, identifying areas for potential improvement and implementing strategies to achieve this. Training & Development: Ensuring that all members of the organization are trained regarding quality standards, processes, and tools to meet these standards. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to track performance against quality standards, identify areas for improvement, and report findings. to senior management. Supplier Quality Management: Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the organization's quality requirements. Customer Feedback: Establish mechanisms to capture customer feedback regarding product/service quality and initiate corrective actions when necessary. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the organization meets all necessary regulatory and compliance requirements related to quality. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments like production, operations, and R&D to ensure quality is maintained throughout the entire product lifecycle. Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of all quality processes, checks, audits, and findings. Problem Solving: Address any issues or deviations from quality standards promptly and ensure they are resolved. Resource Management: Ensure that all necessary tools, equipment, and personnel are available to carry out quality checks and audits. Representation: Represent the organization in external audits, certifications, and during interactions with regulatory bodies. Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with product/service quality and ensure measures are in place to mitigate them. Qualifications And Experience Levels Relevant manufacturing/ engineering degree preferably in Electronics. Good knowledge about PCBA manufacturing. 15-20 years of experience in Telecom / automotive industries. Good at people management.
