Job DescriptionCompany Description 169Pi AI is an innovative company based in Mumbai focused on developing "Pi", a chatbot powered by a custom-built Large Language Model (LLM). Our comprehensive approach to contextual comprehension and multi-modal learning pushes the boundaries of conventional AI. Through Pi, our goal is to establish a new standard in AI communication, ensuring precise and contextually appropriate interactions. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Head of Artificial Intelligence. The Head of AI will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Pi, overseeing the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of the AI team. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting research, developing AI algorithms, and ensuring the quality and performance of Pi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing, with proven experience in fine-tuning various AI models. to achieve exceptional performance. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a visionary mindset to drive innovation and excellence in our AI initiatives. Hybrid work is acceptable. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy: Lead the AI department, setting strategic directions for the development and enhancement of our smart chat assistant. Ensure alignment with the companys vision and business objectives. AI Model Development: Oversee the development, training, and fine-tuning of AI models, with a focus on natural language understanding, conversation flow optimization, and personalized user experiences. Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing. Lead research initiatives to explore new techniques and technologies that can enhance our smart chat assistant. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and design teams to integrate AI capabilities into our products, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience. Data Strategy: Develop and manage a comprehensive data strategy that supports the training and continuous improvement of our AI models, while adhering to data privacy and security standards. Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team of AI professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. Performance Optimization: Monitor the performance of our smart chat assistant, identify areas for improvement, and lead optimization efforts to enhance accuracy, speed, and user satisfaction. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex AI concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and support for AI initiatives.
