Job Description

Head of Communications and Brand International Region

The Head of Communications and Brand is responsible for entire communication (internal and external) and brand reputation within International Region. He/she is also the spokes person for the Chief of International Region. The role is double hatted with Head of Communications and Brand for Growth Region.
Your role:

This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and executing
communication and branding
strategies across a diverse International Region spanning multiple continents. The position involves defining and executing policies and strategies that affect the entire organization's
brand reputation
and
communication efforts.

The role interacts with a
wide range of stakeholder
s, both
internal and external
, including executives, teams across various functions and the public. Managing these relationships effectively is essential for maintaining and enhancing the company's reputation.
This role assumes ownership of
communications for strategic programs
within International Region, such as the new operating model, Go-to-Market, Partners Program, Sales Excellence, License to Operate, Global Services CoE, and Commercial Policy. This responsibility extends beyond merely executing strategies; it involves
defining and shaping these programs
in alignment with the company's global objectives.
Coordinate and
support strategic zone and marketing objectives
like earned coverage in top tier media outlets and healthcare/tech trade media
Drive
thought leadership programs
across media, government, academia and other audiences to grow Philips mindshare in health technology

Functionally lead and develop a team
of around 30 communication and brand colleagues across the International Region
You're the right fit if:

Youve acquired 10+ years of experience in Healthcare or Technology B2B, B2G Communications including experience in managing complex communications processes across a matrixed organization, strong experience in communicating with multiple, diverse stakeholder groups
You have a proven track record in providing exceptional leadership and management to a diverse, geographically dispersed team, fostering engagement and development while promoting a culture of excellence and high performance
You have developed and executed communication and brand strategies that align with global and local objectives to enable the business
You have experience in effective crisis management and reputation safeguarding, contributing to the organization's overall resilience
You possess the ability to lead through influence and to work effectively with senior executives
