We are seeking a highly skilled and. visionary Head of Engineering to lead our software development team and drive the creation of cutting-edge software solutions. Position Overview: As the Head of Engineering - Software Development, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our software engineering team. You will play a critical role in defining the software development strategy, managing a talented team of developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of software products and solutions. This position reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. Key Responsibilities: 1.Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the software developmentteam, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. 2.Software Development Strategy: Develop and execute a clear softwaredevelopment strategy aligned with the company"s goals and objectives, ensuringeffective communication and execution. 3.Team and People Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performingsoftware development team, promoting professional growth and maintaining amotivated and cohesive team. 4.Technical Expertise: Leverage your technical expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS,data structures, and software architecture to guide the team in building robust andscalable software solutions. 5.Software Integration: Oversee the development of integrations with third-partysystems and services, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. 6.Data Structure Optimization: Drive the optimization of data structures andalgorithms to improve system performance, scalability, and efficiency. 7.Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes todeliver high-quality software products, conduct code reviews, and ensureadherence to best practices. 8.Technical Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies,and actively seek opportunities to apply innovative solutions to complex technicalchallenges. 9.Project Management: Manage software development projects, including resourceallocation, scheduling, and risk management, to ensure on-time and on-budgetdelivery. Qualifications: Bachelor"s or Master"s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of proven experience in software development and engineering leadership roles. Strong technical background with expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS, and datastructures. Excellent understanding of software architecture and integration principles. Proven experience managing and delivering complex software projects. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire andmotivate teams.
