WHAT YOU'LL DO

• People management (not expected to code daily) – Ability to manage the dev team across multiple, evolving priorities with efficiency; while maintaining a high degree of employee engagement; and supporting Eden’s culture and core values


• Talent magnet – Demonstrated ability and defined approach to attract high quality talent including senior talent


• Develops team technically through mentoring and other available means (e.g. build peer code review process); makes sufficient time for this activity


• Process builder – breaks down problem and champions adoption of repeatable, scalable processes


• Inspires accountability – keeps a young engineering team accountable with high touch management and clear expectations around effort and output


• Enjoys process – likes creating ambitious goals, breaking sprints into component parts, creating clear deadlines, and hitting them 90%+ of the time (even if scope must be modified)

• Tech degree with developer background


• Ability to bring new products to market (e.g. Property Management Dashboard)


• Scoping & estimation experience


• Code review experience


• Ruby (or Python/PHP), Postgres, Redis, React Native


• Heroku (going to AWS next year); no devops

• Full stack experience


• Cloud & SaaS business model experience


• Has built enterprise grade software


• Marketplace experience – nice to have


• Consumer focused UI experience
