From day one you will lead the Legal and Corporate Affairs (LCA) organization for Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Greece, and Cyprus. In this dual role you will be responsible for both agendas and be an integral part of the Management Team of ABI in Italy. You report to the LCA Director of the Business Unit on all major issues, and you will also have a dotted line to the Country Director Italy. You will manage a team.

The role:

The legal side includes:

- Advise on all legal matters including marketing, sales, labelling, IP, real estate, procurement, M&A, and corporate law.
- Manage litigation risks, including settlements, court proceedings and provisioning.
- Manage the LCA budget and to seek external legal advice and other service providers as required.
- Ensure adherence with competition and data protection laws as well as with ABI compliance program.

On the corporate affairs side of things:

- Enhance and manage Government relationships.
- Represent ABI in business associations and leverage ABIs memberships in such forums to support our corporate affairs agenda.
- Lead external communications.
- Proactively shape and boost our corporate reputation.

Who were looking for:

- University degree in Law
- Italian commercial lawyer with more than 7 yrs post qualification and
- FMCG in-house experience
- Excellent English & Italian
- Proactive personality
- Strong business acumen, solution oriented, excellent strategic thinking and influencing skills
- Good emotional intelligence
- Analytical skills allowing to grasp complex legal and business matters
- Strong communication skills
- Resilient and tenacity in order to meet objectives.
