Healthcare Data Analyst Location: US-GA-Alpharetta Email this job to a friend

We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Data Analyst with Health Plan background to gather and analyze data with an emphasis on Provider Network Development. This position will need to work with data from multiple sources to develop reporting, extract trends, and create business insights. To succeed in this role, you should be analytical, resourceful, and have a complete understanding of Medicare Advantage, Value Based Care, & Health Plan data operations. You should also be an excellent communicator who is able to tell the story behind raw data to non-technical audiences. Your goal will be to help us gather insight into and streamline our processes for increased efficiency. Responsibilities - Understand health plan operations and systems.
- Analyze/Clean/Load/Stage payer and provider data from disparate sources into centralized data marts.
- Provider Network analysis including, but not limited to, Geo-mapping, opportunity analysis, network/ops reporting.
- Requirement Gathering, Development and Distribution of standardized reporting for both internal & external usage using BI Tools
- Evaluate and preprocess raw information.
- Delve into data to discover discrepancies and patterns.
- Build models that capture a wide range of health care operations.
- Present and explain information in an accessible way (e.g Network Development Reporting)
- Collaborate with management and internal teams to implement and evaluate improvements.
Requirements - BSc/BA in Health Informatics, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- 2-3+ years proven experience as a Healthcare Data Analyst (Emphasis on Payer/Provider Network Data)
- 2-3+ years of experience in data analysis and Power BI Software
- 3+ years experience writing SQL preference for MS T-SQL, SQL Server, and SSMS
- Background in Medicare Advantage, Risk Adjustment, ACA, VBC; Highly Desired
- Experience analyzing SF data, thorough understanding the process.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
- Knowledge of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
- Experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and data management systems
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving aptitude

Salary at Vatica Health is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individuals particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $105,000 (annualized USD). This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Vatica Health's total compensation package for employees.
