Healthcare Payor Data Architect (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a contract-to-hire Healthcare Payor Data Architect to join a leading cybersecurity organization in the healthcare space. The Healthcare Payor Data Architect proactively and holistically helps and guides the enterprise leaders, product managers, product owners and distributed product delivery teams through data transformation and optimization initiatives, supporting the formulation of business strategy, outcomes, and capabilities.

Location: Remote (East Coast preferred; will be working Eastern hours)

This job expects to pay about $180,000 to 210,000 annually.

What You Will Do: 

• Through collaboration with client business stakeholders, optimize a composable architecture which will drive key business functions for a healthcare payor’s operations. This will require review of key business processes, data architecture support, data modeling, data integration and reporting/analytic support.
• Rationalization of existing technologies including the identification of opportunities for consolidation, cost-savings, and simplification, and management of actions to achieve.
• Maintain the alignment, integration, and coordination of architecture activities across different programs, projects and products as they evolve over time.
• Facilitate business and IT alignment, connecting strategy to execution, through a cohesive, encouraging, and consultative manner, driving the organization’s digital business strategies and balancing innovation and growth.
• Lead and facilitate interaction with business & IT leaders in a conversation over the risks and implications of product decisions to the line of business, business unit and greater enterprise.
• Develop and apply minimal viable architectures, which can include a set of standards, reference architecture patterns, principles, and guardrails, through the EA governance model, which is advised by the business strategy and corporate governance. Clarifies accountability and provides the focal point for agile, effective, and efficient decision making.

What Gets You The Job: 

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 10+ years of data architecture or equivalent experience in a healthcare (preferably a healthcare payor) setting.
• Experience standing up new data solutions in market leading hyperscalers (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure)
• Expertise in healthcare and connected technology solutions
• Broad expertise in Infrastructure, Cloud and Network services
• Knowledge of business domains. Experience in architecture models.
• Experience implementing new technologies into enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
• Enterprise Integration technologies and patterns.
