About the job Project Manager - Healthcare Summary As a Healthcare Project Manager, you will combine quantitative methods, strategic thinking, and innovative technology to impact our nation's premier hospitals and health systems. You will work with a diverse team of engineers, architects, clinicians, and executives to contribute to the design of healthcare facilities, and plan operations that enable the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective patient care. You will use proven and practical data-driven IE techniques to support and validate the creative and ground-breaking principles of cutting-edge hospital design. Responsibilities Our work is project based and involves healthcare facility design, process improvement, and inventory replenishment system assessment, selection and implementation. This position will mainly focus on patient-flow initiatives but you could also work in those other areas as well. The Project Manager will lead project execution teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that exceeds client expectations. The Project Manager will play an active role in identifying follow on work and may support sales visits. Design and optimize materials management, supply chain, inventory deployment, and support service operations for healthcare clients. Analyze the flow of materials and information through healthcare facilities by applying a wide range of quantitative tools and models. Education & Experience 6+ years of progressive experience with significant experience in a healthcare or medical center environment. Minimum of Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline. Knowledge of healthcare operations and/or healthcare facility design required. Other This position is based in York, PA. Typical travel is 30-50% travel and can flex up or down depending on a variety of factors. However, travel is limited at this time due to COVID-19.
