Softheon is currently seeking a Healthcare Research Analyst within the Client Programs and Analytics team, you will work at the intersection between health care clients, analytic rigor, data storytelling, and Softheon products, methodologies, and processes. As the domain translator you must have both sound technical skills and knowledge as well as superior communication and consultative skills. You must be innovative and passionate about finding creative and realistic solutions to analytic and program evaluation challenges. You will productively collaborate with the Softheon Sales, Engineering, Product, and the larger Client Services teams to help ensure client success.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Work with our clients to design statistically valid healthcare intervention programs (experimental and quasi-experimental study designs) and configure them on the NextHealth platform.
• Develop specifications and proof-of-concept data queries for deriving health-care related metrics (KPIs) from client data such as medical claims. Collaborate with clients and the product team to ensure specification feasibility, sufficiency, and correctness.
• Have good storytelling skills and work with the Services and Sales teams to present and explain complex technical concepts to clients, including use of tools like Power BI.
• Synthesize and communicate client feedback on features and functionality enhancements to the product team.
• Analyze data sets using descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and Machine Learning tools to validate results and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform segmentation and cluster analyses to find meaningful target groups for interventions.
• Synthesize statistical metrics from raw data and platform outputs and generate study conclusions and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Epidemiology, Economics, Operations Research, Psychology, or related analytic field. A Masters of Public Health/Healthcare Administration would also qualify. Equivalent work/military experience will also be considered
• Minimum requirement of 1 year of experience with SQL, R or Python with preferred experience of up to 3 years
• Healthcare, health promotion or health marketing analytics experience preferred
• Knowledge and experience with statistical methods including study design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced data analysis skills
• Enjoy working with clients and prospects
• Experience with Databricks, SQL, python, R, git is a plus
• Willing to travel to client sites when safe and appropriate (up to 30%)
