Lightbox is looking for a Research whiz to help support the brand story with insightful research and data. Whether its pulling syndicated research to strengthen Ad Sales pitches, or designing custom studies that demonstrate advertisers ROI, you will apply your stellar strategic and analytical skills to help convince of our value proposition. The role is beyond just numbers; youre able to take the numbers and craft narratives. You have a curious mind and love data, but you love telling stories from data even more.



Youll be reporting directly into VP of Research as a member of the Marketing team, working alongside SVP of Marketing and a small group of marketers who wear many hats (from integrated to brand marketing) as well as a super creative and content group. Youll be the research go to for day-to-day Sales, Marketing, vendor partners and even outside clients. Youll be working in an entrepreneur environment with lots of room and flexibility for research and data creativity, collaboration and growth.



IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL




  • Support and manage day-to-day research Sales requests and projects to craft compelling, data-driven insights and stories to demonstrate the value of Lightbox for advertisers

  • Manage advertising effectiveness research studies to prove the value of Lightbox. From start to finish:

  • Facilitate study RFPs and study design

  • Oversee and work with research partner on set up, questionnaire development, quality checks on data and results delivery

  • Work with VP Research to analyze and write report

  • Work within the wider Marketing function to craft compelling, data-driven stories

  • Contribute to consulting with internal clients on research study methodologies, study setup/design and best practices; become the methodology expert for the organization

  • Assist in developing measurement, media & creative best practices and norms for the organization

  • Assist in creating templates or approaches to improve efficiency of research and the department

  • Assist in other types of primary research and consumer insights on shopper buying habits and behaviors that helps showcase the position of DOOH and Lightbox

  • Using syndicated or primary research to continually develop internal and external proprietary data and learnings to support sales efforts

  • Maintain relationships with research partners (e.g. Nielsen, Geopath, Scarborough, GfK MRI, Telmar, MFour Market Research) and assist in evaluating new potential measurement partners


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelors Degree

  • 3-4+ years of research experience working in a relevant field (location data/data tech/data science, OOH media, advertising agency, publisher, etc.)

  • Profoundly well-organized with the spirit of a project manager. This role requires the ability to keep track of MANY simultaneous projects and help keep others on track too

  • Self-starter yet collaborative. This role requires someone who can operate on their own and still get the job done

  • High speed executor; someone who works thoughtfully, but able to get a high volume of great work out the door

  • Expertise utilizing research tools: Telmar, PRIME Lingo, Nielsen Media Impact, MarketSight

  • Knowledge of syndicated research studies and resources such as MRI, Scarborough, Nielsen Ad Intel, eMarketer

  • Proficient in Excel and Powerpoint

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills, data savviness, detailed-oriented, proactive, curious and passionate

  • Experience in of Out-of-Home, Digital Out-of-Home, Digital or TV advertising Experience with running Brand Lift/Ad Effect studies a huge plus
