Role: Biology Scientist II
Duration: 06 Months (Possibility to extend)
Job Location: Research Triangle Park, NC
Skills looking for:
Need to have Molecular biology skills. PCR or any other amplification technology experience is needed.
Need to have Biosafety Level II Skills.
Looking for someone who can stay the full length of the contract as there is a possibility of extension in the contract.
Need to be able to understand the science behind the projects.
Need to have DNA/RNA extraction experience and knowledge.
Top 3 skills: (Must Haves)
Need to have knowledge of basic Molecular biology skills & techniques.
Experience with amplification techniques and PCR.
BSL II Training experience & ability work in that environment.
Education & Experience:
At least Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry etc related to Biology degree. Masters are considered given that they are willing to work the whole project. PhD candidates may not stay the whole project. (Last person in the role was a PhD candidate. They found a perm role and left)
At least 1+ years of experience in Molecular Biology lab. Fresh grads are also considered given that they have considerable experience in a Molecular Biology lab during their under graduation.
Interviews:
Video conference interviews over MS teams. (2 rounds with a panel of researchers working in the project)
