Position: MES BUSINESS ANALYST
Location: North Haven, CT or Portsmouth, NH (Onsite)
Duration:-Fulltime
Salary: $120k

A Business Analyst is a professional who works closely with stakeholders to identify goals, develop best practices for data collection, and analyze current processes to determine what can be delivered to achieve their desired outcome.

The main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role, they should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, gathering requirements, and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share technical concepts.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to the other team members.
  • Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and the project team.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of activities
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.

Business Analyst Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in MES and preferably CM
  • A bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field or an MBA.
  • Previous experience in business analysis (IT or Engineering) or a related field.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Advanced technical skills in IT and/or Automation.
  • Excellent documentation skills (requirements).
  • Experience creating reports and giving presentations.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
