JOB: Nursing Supervisor

Summary
Position - WIH-Nursing Supervisor:
It's a rotating schedule anywhere between 7 am through 1830 pm
Contract Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Shift - 07:00 AM - 06:30 PM HOUSE WIDE Nursing Supervisor Shift Information: (Days, Evenings, Nights, Flex) 36 Hrs a week. Contract Info: 13 weeks at 32-40 Hrs. a week Guaranteed (with optional 10 13-week extensions)
Job Description: Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island, a Care New England hospital, Is one of the Nation's leading specialty hospitals for women and newborns. We have a current opening for 2 Traveling Nurse Supervisors. The chosen will act as an intermediary between Upper Leadership and Clinical care. This person will have the responsibility of overseeing patient flow/care operations as well as managing and monitoring staff nurses for the entire facility
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Required)
Active RI Nursing License (Required) Active NRP, ACLS & BLS Certification (Required)
Other Certifications (PALS, etc) are preferred but not required.
Previous Supervisory/Management Experience (Required)
Ability to work every other Holiday & Weekend (Required)
Effective Communication Skills and adaptable personality, Strong Disposition, and Reliable (Required)
Updated Covid Vaccination & Booster (Required) o Please note, that if the last covid booster received is more than 2 months old, the BIVALENT booster is required unless a medical exemption is needed.
We no longer require flu vaccines until September of 2023. Please have all certifications (ACLS, PALS, BLS) and licenses upon submission. All documentation has to be uploaded into the VMS one week before the start date
