As a Summer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to learn and support our team in maintaining an efficient workflow, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and adhering to laboratory safety regulations. Ideally, you will have at least one year of lab experience and a science background and be knowledgeable in MS Office. Requirements

• Support the laboratory in maintaining an efficient workflow by assisting laboratory personnel
• Receive incoming laboratory samples and check them for accuracy. Ensure that the labels on the specimens coincide with the information provided by the lab/institution
• Scan slides onto our Laboratory Information System (LIS)
• Maintain accurate data for record-keeping
• Assisting in shipping by generating FedEx labels and packaging final products to respective labs
• Adhere to Laboratory Safety / Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) rules and regulations
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Applicants must be working towards a bachelor's or master's degree and have a science background
• At least one year of lab experience is preferred
• Computer research skills and be knowledgeable of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
