ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Handles all telephone calls outside regular office hours.

2. Accepts assignments from the supervisor or designee in the form of an "evening report".

3. Coordinates client requests for service made outside regular office hours.

4. Coordinates any personnel scheduling requests made outside regular office hours.

5. Consults with the after hours on call back up for caregiver/client issues.

6. Provides "on-call report" to the supervisor each morning.

  • Accurately collects and enters new client information in the scheduling program


Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

1. Is a high school graduate or equivalent.

2. Two years experience in a scheduling position, preferably in private duty or home care.

3. Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health. Has presented a pre-employment physician's health clearance including a negative TB skin test or CXR and other tests as required by Organization policy if working in the field with clients

4. Has satisfactory references from current employers and professional peers.

5. Has excellent communication skills.

6. Is self directed with the ability to work with little supervision.

7. Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling obligations.

8. Being fully vaccinated for Covid-19, or the willingness to become vaccinated prior to start date, is required
