Advisacare Home Health is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Home Health care Intake coordinator to join the team at our Troy location
The home health care division is growing !!! This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated well organized individual!

The preferred candidate will be experienced in home health care, insurance verification, and have excellent time management, written & communication skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for obtaining detailed and accurate benefit information using multiple websites to obtain insurance verification
- Daily tracking of patient census, hospitalizations and communication with physician offices and or referral sources
- Daily/continuous monitoring of orders to be processed for signature
- Ability to think critically and act independently
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
- Will require one weekend in rotation as Referral Intake On Call once training is completed and is included in the salary offer
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT
- Knowledge of Home health care preferred but not required
- Knowledge of insurance verification preferred but not required
- Knowledge of Wellsky/Kinnser EMR is preferred but not required
- Highly organized, with the ability to multitask and attention to detail
- Optimal candidate will demonstrate patience, flexibility and be a cooperative team player
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with others both internally and externally
- Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year Home health care experience preferred but not required
