Bluemont Hotel is hiring a General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate is a capable leader who can motivate and manage our team, maintain excellent guest relations, and run a successful business. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to take charge of a thriving hotel in a beautiful area of town. Responsibilities - Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and revenue generation
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all departments are working together smoothly
- Review financial reports and monitor budgets to ensure that the hotel is profitable
- Develop and execute marketing plans to attract new business and retain existing customers
- Hire, train, and manage staff members, ensuring that they are meeting performance standards and fulfilling their duties
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Develop and maintain guest loyalty programs to incentivize repeat business
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a hotel general manager or similar role
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience managing financials, budgets, and revenue management
- Proficiency in hotel operations software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
