Responsibilities:

  • Screen resumes, schedule and conduct interviews, administer and process Wonderlic test, discuss candidates with managers and the Director of Human Resources, maintain notes in the applicant tracking system and execute offers
  • Create offer letters, conduct background and reference checks and handle onboarding paperwork
  • Coordinate new hire orientations and welcome buddies
  • Conduct exit interviews and 90 day reviews and bring any issues to the attention of the Director of Human Resources
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures, and answer employee questions and address them accordingly.
  • Knowledgeable of company benefits, and assist with enrollment process, updating census, as well as providing assistance to employees with questions regarding the different plans the company offers.
  • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operations and administrative tasks of the HR team, such as filing and creating new hire packets
  • Manage employee data entry and updates in HRIS systems; processing changes, terminations, and new hires
  • Process enrollment and terminations in insurance plans.
  • Process enrollment and terminations in Customs Brokerage system.
  • Track and monitor all personnels vacation and sick time.
  • Bring employee relations and morale issues to the attention of the Director of Human Resources
  • Coordinate and arrange company charity programs and employee engagement activities
  • Work with managers on the personnel performance reviews
  • Performs other related duties and projects as required and assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of human resources experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent inter-personal and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain and organize records and documentation
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work on sensitive issues with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Must be a team player and also be able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Salary range for this position is $50-55k dependent on level of experience.
