Job Description:

• Job type: Permanent, Full time
• 30 hours / week
• Salary: $56 / hour
• Start date: As soon as possible
• Work location: #5-11 CENTENNIAL RD, KITCHENER, ON N2B 3E9
Job Responsibilities:
1) Collaborate with departmental managers to forecast and plan human resource requirements in alignment with FPR Environmental's business of abatement services.
2) Develop recruitment strategies tailored to the abatement services industry to attract and retain qualified candidates for various positions within the company.
3) Coordinate internal and external training programs, including safety training specific to abatement services, to enhance employee skills and compliance with industry regulations.
4) Develop and implement labour relations policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as occupational health and safety regulations.
5) Administer employee development programs focused on technical skills enhancement and career progression within the abatement services industry.
6) Provide guidance and assistance to departmental managers on the interpretation and application of personnel policies and procedures.
7) Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Pay Equity Act and other relevant legislation applicable to the construction and abatement services sector.
8) Direct the organization's quality management program, ensuring adherence to the highest quality standards for abatement services and testing.
9) Establish KPIs to monitor the effectiveness of HR initiatives and employee performance, contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
10) Foster collaboration and communication among HR staff, departmental managers, and frontline employees to address HR-related issues and promote a positive work environment.
Job requirements:
• Language: English
• Education: Minimum of College Diploma
• Work Experience: 5 years of human resource management experience from construction relevant industry
• Personal Ability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of independent decision-making, strong problem-solving skills
