The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the Employee Experience of the Company. This position will research, develop and implement effective ways to engage our employees including but not limited to onboarding, coaching, developing, fairly compensating and respectfully treating our employees through off boarding to foster a productive and motivated workforce, while staying in compliance with all laws and regulations. The position requires a true leader and trusted partner for both our leadership and employees, to help the company succeed in meeting goals and initiatives.

Requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Executes project and process improvements to drive company strategy and initiatives.
  • Administers company policies and procedures and Company Handbook.
  • Leads and develops the team, mentoring and training as needed.
  • Oversees all aspects of the employee experience including but not limited to onboarding, performance appraisals, organizational training, benefits, employee recognition, compensation, employee engagement, leave of absence administration through offboarding.
  • Administers the performance evaluation process.
  • Develops and delivers training/communications for organizational development and risk management.
  • Oversees and coordinates company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, disability and retirement benefits.
  • Oversees Annual Open Enrollment.
  • Oversees leave administration including FMLA, ADA and workplace accommodation requests.
  • Oversees the compensation and position management for the company including workforce planning, job descriptions and salary bands.
  • Responsible to be knowledgeable of the ATS and HRIS system and stay current on improvements.
  • Makes recommendations to leadership for cost savings and system improvements.
  • Oversees the data integrity and acquisition of meaningful metrics and improvements in the HRIS system, and runs reports as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws including compliance with affirmative action plans.
  • An expert in employee relations including but not limited to coaching, development, corrective actions and resolving workplace issues.
  • Ensures company policy and procedures are followed prior to termination.
  • Oversees exit survey process and follow up.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
At least 5 years of progressive HR experience.
Experience leading direct reports.
Strong HRIS experience with technical aptitude.
Ability to develop presentations and deliver training.
Expert in employee relations, problem solving and conflict resolution.
Highly organized with a proven ability to collaborate across the company at all levels and build consensus.
Ability to travel as needed.
