A reputable client of ours is looking for an experienced Hydrogeologist / Geologist to join their team. Responsibilities: - You are highly detail-oriented, organized, and timely
- Performing/supporting remedial investigations and remedial action activities under federal and state lead regulatory programs
- Performing source control evaluations
- Conducting project and task management
- Communicating technical information to varied audiences (e.g., clients, staff, regulators, and stakeholders)
- Writing technical reports
- Leading and mentored younger staff
Requirements - You are an experienced hydrogeologist with extensive site characterization, investigation, and remediation experience
- You are a strategic thinker who thrives on the challenges of complex, interdisciplinary environment matters
- A lifelong learner, you want to keep growing intellectually and professionally
- Collaborating with colleagues with diverse expertise is exciting for you, and you are also comfortable working independently
- You have broad experience communicating key concepts orally and in written form to the layperson, regulators, attorneys, and clients
- The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, well-organized experienced individual who can provide technical and strategic leadership on client projects in multiple state and federal jurisdictions
- The candidate will have rich and varied experience in New Jersey, an understanding of the investigation and remediation of PFAS, a high degree of technical competence, be able to lead multidisciplinary teams, and effectively communicate with clients, counsel, and stakeholders
- Candidates should hold a B.S. or M.S. degree in hydrogeology, geology, environmental science, environmental or civil engineering, or a related technical field
- 7-15 years of professional experience
- P.G. or P.E. license
- A New Jersey LSRP certification or qualify for the exam within 2 years
- Working knowledge of the New Jersey regulatory framework
- Experience in project and client management
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A desire to grow intellectually and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully within multidisciplinary and diverse teams
- Up-to-date 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training Certification
