Duration: 13-week assignment 3 - 12 hour shifts available ICU Stepdown Nurse Requirements: ICU Stepdown Nurse Benefits: Overall Assignment Amount: $39,304 Overall Weekly Amount: $3,008 -
$43.50/hr and $65.25/hr overtime. Weekly Taxable: $1,566 -
Weekly Per Diem: $483 ($69/day) -
Weekly Housing: $959 ($137/day) -

Employee Referral Program ICU Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities: Monitoring patients for signs of life-threatening complications
Managing patients and assisting physicians with ventilators, tracheostomies, arterial lines, IVs, central lines, IV pumps, syringe pumps, PD catheters, Foley catheters, G-tubes, NG-tubes
EKG monitoring
Post-op care
Providing care for 2-4 patients ranging from young adults to geriatric
Responding to code blue and rapid response alerts
Titration of critical drips
Acting as an advocate for patients and as a liaison between the patient, family, and the healthcare team
