Were looking for an IT Administrator to join Aardvark and affiliated companies to oversee general office IT innovation, maintenance and problem solving for multiple physical locations as well as our fleet of vehicles. RESPONSIBILITIES | ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job responsibilities of our IT Administrator include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee general office IT, including the setup, implementation, and maintenance of computer systems at our HQ and any affiliated (local) sites. Provide problem-solving and troubleshooting support as needed.
  • Configure and maintain file server systems, including establishing naming conventions, file structures, and creating accounts with appropriate permissions for new and existing employees.
  • Manage and deploy software licenses, apps and operating systems as required.
  • Manage a robust IoT infrastructure at multiple locations.
  • Set up and maintain all servers and devices, including configuring access for computer systems and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Responsible for light network configuration, Unifi systems and GSuite maintenance.
  • Manage WiFi maintenance and configuration, including troubleshooting and resolving access issues related to WiFi and VPN remote access.
  • Implement and manage security protocols and systems to mitigate potential threat.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems.
  • Document processes related to the maintenance of computer systems.
  • Design and implement feedback and error reporting systems to improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated on technological advancements and best practices in IT administration and security.
  • Set up / Manage IT service request app.


QUALIFICATIONS

Experience Required:

  • 3-5 years of experience in information technology, computer science, information systems, or related fields.
  • Experience working for a professional company.
  • Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with best IT administration and system security practices, with the ability to find innovative solutions to challenges and improve existing practices.
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a high degree of initiative and flexibility, be a motivated self-starter, maintain a positive attitude, and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Ability to handle conversations with discretion and interact professionally with all levels of management, while maintaining confidentiality.
  • An active driver's license and access to a vehicle will be required to travel between sites as needed.

Preferred:

  • CompTIA A+, CCNA, MCSA
  • Applicable professional qualifications, such as Microsoft certifications.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a similar field.

  • Employee NPS
  • IT Service Ticket Response Times
  • System Uptime Metrics
  • Company Revenue, as this function supports the entire team

Salary: $70-90k, commensurate with experience
