Technical/Functional Skills

  • Windows 10 & Apple MAC Operating systems Support
  • Knowledge on Linux & Unix Operating systems
  • Knowledge in Active Directory, Site Networking topology, and Subnet architecture to troubleshoot issues
  • Experience with Office 365 suite
  • Experience in Managing SCCM, PXE setup and configuration
  • Hands-on Experience in PC and Workstation Hardware support - Preferably on HP and Dell models
  • Preferably ITIL foundation or / and CompTIA A+ certified or / and Apple Certified Support Professional
  • Strong logical and analytical thinker
  • Embody customer service excellence
  • Able to find root causes of problems and quickly determine efficient solutions
  • Exhibits poise and focus under high stress
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic to solve problems and get things done

Experience Required

Onsite IT Support, PC Support, Desktop Support

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite End user IT support for Roseville, CA location which is the R&D center for customer
  • PC & Workstation IMAC
  • PC Repair
  • Support Apple MAC Laptops
  • Troubleshoot Client Operating System issues
  • Support End User Productivity software Microsoft Office applications
  • Support Client Security software client issues Antivirus and Encryption. Preferably CrowdStrike Antivirus and Bitlocker Encryption
  • Work with Hardware and other IT vendors
  • Hands & Feet Support when required for Server & Network requests or issues.
  • Provide Basic support of applications used by Software Engineering & R&D user community
  • Partner with other onsite and remote IT support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues & requests related to services in the IT Portfolio
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop issues (break/fix, viruses, advanced troubleshooting, and the like)
  • Leverage optimization techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems
  • Operationalize support of systems through standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles
  • PC hardware, software and driver install support for system integration.
  • Help resolve network connectivity issues, PC login issues, MS Office 365 troubleshooting.
