Job Description:

Role: IT Director

Location: Tualatin, OR

Job type: FTE

Responsibilities:

• Developing custom Drupal modules and maintaining client's existing Drupal codebase.


• Leads and coordinates development of IT infrastructure to ensure key business strategies and processes are supported by systems that enable growth and flexibility


• Manages software implementation and optimization, including continued functionality development of NetSuite ERP system, rollout management, and training of users.


• Extends and automates NetSuite/IT functionality into Powin’s field activities (such as receiving, QA inspection checklist and non-conformance reporting, access to technical documentation and technical records updates)


• Ensures safety and integrity of data by maintaining security and privacy of the information systems and equipment


• Leads business continuity initiatives


• Manages external and internal IT support functions


• Manages IT initiatives including system and network administration


• Purchases IT products and devices and supports on-site installation, setup, and integration of internal tools and systems


• Troubleshoots network issues/problems


• Manages routine and ad hoc maintenance of hardware and software systems


• Assist with network design and communicate with customer regarding design and product/customer interface


• Configure networks at remote sites including but not limited to: SCADA, communications networks, firewalls, sensors, and I/O devices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or related field


• 10+ years’ experience in network engineering, technical support, IT system administration, or other similar technical background


• IT infrastructure development and IT operations leadership experience


• Familiarity with ModBus, SunSpec, and Linux


• Familiarity with NetSuite or other similar ERP software solutions


• Experience with cloud-based file sharing, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Confluence, Jira, and SmartSheets.


• Knowledge of security best practices and experience with intrusion detection systems, enterprise virus scanning, and general network monitoring


• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
