job summary:
Applicants should have a high school diploma or its equivalent. College, trade school courses, or certificate training in endpoint administration preferred. Requires 5 or more years of experience in endpoint administration or related field. Also requires knowledge of endpoint operating systems (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) and related software, understanding of endpoint security best practices, experience implementing security policies, experience with different endpoint management tools, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft MCSA/MCSE are a plus. Must be able to work in a general office environment, which at times will demand unusual working hours as well as occasional travel outside the system. Requires a valid driver's license. location: QUINCY, Florida job type: Contract salary: $30 - 38 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities:
- Perform duties in a safe, satisfactory, competent and timely manner.
- Manage and maintain endpoint devices, including but not limited to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, phones, and other peripherals.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and software on endpoint devices.
- Create automations to streamline the deployment and configuration of operating systems, drivers, and software on endpoints.
- Monitor and maintain endpoint inventory and perform regular audits to ensure all devices are accounted for.
- Create and implement endpoint security policies, including anti-virus, anti-malware, and firewalls, to protect endpoint devices from external threats.
- Monitor endpoint devices for performance issues and take appropriate action to ensure they are running optimally.
- Perform system updates and patch management to ensure endpoint devices are running the latest software versions and security patches.
- Provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot endpoint-related issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement new endpoint-related solutions and technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
