Title: IT Project Manager (10+ Years)

Location: Work From Home for now (Onsite at 250 Vesey Street if Covid Restrictions Lifted)

Duration: 6+ Months

Description

The company is seeking a hybrid Technology Project Manager and Business Analyst profile to assist with ongoing projects and initiatives covering Regulatory Records Management. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a high-performance team and work with some of the most disruptive and emerging technologies within a dynamic and fast bank.

Must-Have Skills/Requirements:

1) 10+ years of experience working in financial service, Investment Bank and/or Management Consultancy with strong experience in Regulatory Records Management environment

2) 8+ years of experience in Application Ownership roles

3) 10+ years of experience with SDLC

4) 2+ years of experience with System and Vendor landscape for Records Management and EDMS and working with both structured and unstructured data

5) Familiar with Records Management regulatory standards and legislation relating to the current trends and management of records including SEC rule 17a-3, 17a-4, CFTC Rule 1.31, WORM Compliance, and other US Financial recordkeeping regulations demonstrated in recent project work

Nice to Have Skills:

- Knowledge of established industry methodologies (CMMI, PRINCE2, etc) for Technology delivery is a plus

Typical Day in the Role:

- Serve as the Application SME for Enterprise Data Management Solutions (EDMS) within GWRT (Global Wholesale and Risk Technology) US Team

- Assist Compliance and other functions for any production or regulatory inquiries or tasks related to Records Management

- Ensure a disciplined project and systems implementation methodology (SDLC) is leveraged for all Technology initiatives.

- Create Technology Roadmaps, Project Plans, Business Requirements, Testing plans/scripts, and other artifacts to support a methodical project delivery for US initiatives

- Ensure controlled Production maintenance and monitoring of Regulatory Records Management applications including a robust set of KPIs/KRIs. and incident reporting

- Successfully work and collaborate with other Technology teams to support the Regulatory Records Management needs and initiatives.

- Ensure clear executive reporting, issue escalation, and risk mitigation for the Regulatory Records Management Technology perimeter

Soft Skills:

- Good ability to balance competing or conflicting goals of various departments and stakeholders which requires a mature, diplomatic approach and highly developed negotiation and influencing skills.

- Candidate must be a team player, that does not need to be micromanaged wants someone who can get up and hit the ground running everyone morning without necessarily being told what to do

- Ability to manage assigned tasks and expectations without direct instruction or oversight

- Fast, adaptable learner who can hit the ground running

- Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating strong professionalism

- Must be able to collaborate closely with a team at times, while also being capable of holding themselves accountable to meet individual deadlines without hand holding

Education and Certifications:

- Bachelor's degree in related field

- Masters or equivalent strongly preferred
