Who We're Seeking

Our software is a key reason why Florida Realtors is the largest state-based Realtor association in the country. We focus on providing our members with valuable resources so they may build up their business. The IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating technology projects with cross discipline team members to ensure that all parties are successfully progressing with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules. The IT Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, directing, and coordinating of project activities and resources for assigned projects. This role serves as the primary internal contact for IT projects, gathering and sharing project information as necessary, and is responsible for the on-time completion of IT projects.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinates with internal stakeholders to document and report project scope, objectives, and business and system requirements.
  • Monitors and tracks project timelines and team members work using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Ensure all project tools are kept up-to-date, document project details, record and report any project delays including root cause and potential escalations.
  • Reports and facilitates meetings on project progress to internal stakeholders and management on a regular basis.
  • Work in close partnership with all stakeholders; identifies required resources and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Assigns project tasks to team members, accordingly, ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
  • Create and maintain detailed work plans and documentation for project implementation; communicates with team; manages day-to-day project activities.
  • Meets with project team members to identify and resolve issues to minimize project delays.
  • Coordinates and maintains software release schedule.
  • Ensures all software testing is successful before software is added to the release schedule.
  • Manages the tasks and timelines of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Remains flexible to work additional projects as requested or as needed.
  • Other duties to IT projects and in general, as assigned.

Requirements

What You Need

Qualified applicants will possess:

  • Bachelors degree business, technical or in a related field, or have equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of software project management experience and working with software development teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is preferred.
  • Experience leading custom/complex software development/information technology implementation projects.
  • Experience with Project Management software; Asana experience a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platform.
  • Experience in eliciting and documenting business and system requirements.
  • Possess excellent prioritization and organizational skills with ability to multitask.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in both oral and written communication skills.
  • Have proven ability for achieving goals and completing assignments with occasional ability to work outside of normal work hours
  • Intermediate skills in MS products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to share pertinent knowledge with others
