Job Title: IT Project Sr Manager
Location: Lisle, IL
Duration: 12 Months

++++I am looking for an experienced project manager , who has handled large teams and large transformation projects. Additional capabilities include vendor management , project financial manager , budgeting and forecasting experience++++++

The person should be able to coordinate internal resources and manage relationships with third parties/vendors (link removed) Experience with implementing a 3PL warehouse operations is highly desired.

We need a strong and assertive project manager who can be a lead and has experience running agile projects. Need to be able to do resource planning , financial forecasting and budgeting for the project.

Looking for a PM who is a strong agile coach and champion as well. Someone who has executed agile projects from conception to implementation ,is well versed with all the agile(agileSafe) and scrum techniques.

Education requirement: BS in Computer Science or Engineering
Years of Experience: At least 8+ years of managing technical projects
Located within commuting distance of Lisle, IL (work must be done onsite)

The Project Manager will be overseeing all aspects of IT projects in the Client Aftersales-Parts Order Management and Distribution Group working with Client Business and IT Application Development Group. This includes creating and maintaining project plans, coordinating tasks and schedules for multiple team members and projects, following up on action items to ensure timely completion, assisting with financial management, and ensuring conformance to PMO requirements. You will work at Client's beautiful World Headquarters campus in the Chicago western suburb of Lisle, IL and enjoy a positive, yet challenging work environment.

Responsibilities
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Track, publish and follow up on action items and issues
Proactively remove roadblocks and escalate, as appropriate, to management
Monitor spending against budget milestones and take corrective action, as needed
Manage pre-project activities (including resource acquisition and SOWs) and drive all stages through project completion
Manage third party vendor relationships, contract administration and SOW compliance
Schedule and lead team meetings, standups and working sessions as needed
Work with the IT Manager and developers to determine work estimates and resource requirements to create a detailed project plan
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation according to PMO policy, including Business Case, ROM estimates, Project Charter, Project Schedule, Work Breakdown Structure, and Lessons Learned
Manage sprint planning (for Agile projects)
Promote a strong working partnership between business and IT members of the team and insure excellent communications between team members, stakeholders and management, at all levels
Produce status reports and maintain project metrics
Control scope and manage the change control process

Technical Skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Visio, (Advanced) Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint

Qualifications
Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced, demanding cross-functional environment working with business users, project team members, IT development personnel and vendors
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills
Proven ability to handle complexity (technical and organizational)
Strong understanding of systems. Able to understand technical terms and system design considerations
Curious, goal oriented and highly self-motivated with a passion for driving transformative change
Strong customer service orientation; enjoys people and creates raving fans
Excellent written and oral communication skills; comfortable presenting to all levels of business and technical audiences
Experience with both Waterfall and Agile frameworks
Work experience in manufacturing or aftermarket parts industry a plus
