IT Service Mgmt Prof. - Inf. 1 Description-: *** MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS*** ITIL Foundations Certification Fluent in professional English Excellent communication skills Experience in IT infrastructure backend architecture (servers, operating systems, storage units) Basic technical knowledge in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google) Experience with IT outsourcing contracts, SLA / KPI's, licensing policies, charging models, etc. Able to work with a virtual and remote team Team player and enjoy working in an international and cross-functional environment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products PREFERRED - Microsoft MCSE or MCSA Certified (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer / Associate)
- Basic German understanding, additional foreign languages a plus
- Passion for business processes and underlying IT architecture and new / innovative IT technologies
IT Service Manager - Data Center The Value Center Data Center is responsible to oversee all Data Center Services for globally as provided by internal and external operational teams. To ensure global alignment regarding specific knowledge areas the team organization has been setup with two chapters: - Chapter Architecture (ARC)
- Chapter Technical Solution & Service Quality (TSQ)
- Lead service owners
The current position is within the Chapter Technical Solution & Service Quality (TSQ) and is for a Service Manager Role. The IT Service Manager is a Service Professional overseeing all aspects of the service (e.g. technology, processes, providers, etc.) and ensuring that the Service Element is fit for purpose, delivered at its best, complies to company security guidelines and retains customer satisfaction. - The IT Service Manager makes sure that specified IT services operate in a reliable manner and are compliant with defined processes (e.g. "confirmation of delivery"). The IT Service Manager monitors and manages the quality of specified IT services regarding stability, performance, security and usability as contractually agreed. The IT Service Manager partners with internal or external IT Service Providers and Cyber Security teams to initiate and recommend changes for continuous service improvements and highest security level.
The focus responsibilities of this Service Manager of IT IN DC TSQ includes: - Orchestrate service providers regarding server installations, upgrades, and support of all infrastructure components in relevant contracts.
- Contribute to the supporting infrastructure of the application landscape.
- Ensure Data Center Services operate in a reliable and efficient manner and within a secure environment. This may include assisting with the configuration and maintenance of High Availability and Disaster Recover solutions.
- Support project-based work while keeping a focus on infrastructure cost efficient solutions hitting key project milestones.
- Maintain regular contact with Application Management teams for day-to-day operations, running projects and work progress
- Ensure Cyber-Security guidelines and processes are followed.
- Work on customer demands, minor service changes and system changes.
