The different Regional Strategic Study Centers build on the strong bilateral relationships between the United States and countries in different regions worldwide by focusing on a multilateral approach to addressing regional security concerns and issues. It is designed to meet the knowledge needs of national security professionals by providing a forum for rigorous examination of the challenges that shape the security environment of the different regions around the world. The Centers provide a focal point where national decision-makers can gather to exchange ideas and explore tools for cooperative problem-solving.

This is a hybrid position

In this role, a typical day will include:

- Serving as the point of contact for all IT and audio-video issues.

- Coordinating with the IT department to ensure the Center complies with DoD regulations and provide team support as required or requested.

- Updating and maintaining the functionality, layout, navigation, content, platform, and security for the official Center website, including making modifications and enhancements, as directed, to the content management system/platform, implementing environment, menu options, external integration, templates, workflow integration, and other functionalities as required.

- Setting up, establish, and run all program IT and audio to include virtual distance learning programs via various media as required.

Assisting faculty and staff with understanding how to use various platforms to conduct distance learning programs.

- Providing advice and establish SOPs to maintain the Centers website, establish/set up and run seminars with available IT and audio equipment, and instruct how to conduct distance learning programs via various platforms.

Requirements

WHAT YOULL NEED:

Minimal Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in a computer-related field and/or systems/software development certification.

- Minimum two years' experience working in U.S. Government computer systems and in web development.

- Knowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) web policy and regulations.

- Must show experience working with Drupal 7 and 8, and managing distance learning

programs for a think tank, college or university, or DoD regional center.

- Must have minimum DoD cyber security certifications.

Desired Qualifications:

- RCPAMS operating knowledge

- Power BI
