The Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (OCOM) is seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Coordinator to join our dynamic technology team. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Systems Coordinator is a tech-savvy professional with a passion for ensuring a seamless digital experience in a higher education environment. This position requires a strong background in managing Apple environments, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Cisco Meraki administration, mobile device management, inventory management, knowledge of lecture capture software, and a commitment to providing top-notch support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apple Environment Expertise: Lead the management and optimization of our Apple technology ecosystem to enhance productivity and innovation across the college.
  • Google Workspace Administration: Oversee and maintain Google Workspace to support effective collaboration and communication among staff and students.
  • Zoom Administration: Ensure a reliable and efficient Zoom environment for virtual learning and meetings. This includes standard, Zoom Room, and Zoom Phone account management.
  • Mobile Device Management: Administer and maintain our mobile device management system to secure and manage mobile devices effectively. Experience with Mosyle is preferred.
  • Lecture Capture Management: Administer, manage, and support software and hardware used for lecture capture. Experience with Echo360 or Panopto is preferred.
  • Cisco Meraki Management: Administer, monitor, and support IT infrastructure using the Cisco Meraki Dashboard, troubleshooting and escalating issues as they arise.
  • Inventory Management: Assist IT Support Manager with tracking of hardware and software assets, ensuring proper allocation and maintenance.
  • Technology Support: Provide timely assistance to end-users, addressing technical issues, and resolving support inquiries within scope of job description.
  • Instructional Support: Provide instructional material including How-Tos, best practices, and general methodologies/guidance to students and employees to support systems in scope of job description.
  • Printing: Experience managing and configuring networked printers using a print management system, preferably Papercut.
  • *Crestron/Extron: Any experience configuring and troubleshooting Crestron/Extron is preferred but not required.
  • Strategize with the Director of Information Technology to meet technology goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently as well as function effectively in a team and within a diverse group of people.
  • Detail-oriented and willing to work in a changing environment including researching new ways of accomplishing tasks, participating in training sessions, being a self-starter and team player, and willing to assist in other areas as needed.
  • Uphold and abide by OCOMs policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Title IX, HIPAA, and FERPA guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field is required. Graduate degree or advanced certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in systems administration. Experience in higher education is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Apple technology management.
  • Highly proficient in Google Workspace and Zoom administration.
  • Strong knowledge of mobile device management. Knowledge of Mosyle is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be local to the Central Florida area or willing to relocate at own expense.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
