Jeevy Computers is looking for an experienced and professional Computer Technician to help assist our small business and home business customers. While ensuring our clients’ service tickets are resolved and documented properly, you will expand your IT skills and knowledge as you work alongside our diverse and knowledgeable team.

Responsibilities

Technicians will provide direct comprehensive technical support service to our small business and home business clients

Assist clients in purchasing, testing, deploying, configuring and assembling new hardware and software
(link removed)>
Perform remote and on-site client tasks including hardware replacement, software upgrades, data migration, virus removal and maintenance

Independently resolve intermediate to complex computer software and hardware problems by applying troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Read technical documentation, confer with other team members to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.

Work well independently, with our New Jersey based team

Stay up to date with current technology in order to suggest relevant hardware or software to both new and existing clients.

Promptly respond to client concerns or questions and maintain excellent client satisfaction

Perform customer support related tasks and follow ups.

Requirements

2 Years of related experience in any position providing the required skills and abilities

Knowledge of computer hardware and software
(link removed)>
Knowledge of Apple and Microsoft applications and operating systems

Diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
(link removed)>
Ability to configure, maintain and upgrade servers, workstations and laptops

Ability to answer computer and software related questions in technical and non-technical terms
(link removed)>
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
(link removed)>
Ability to understand and carry out instructions explained in various forms (written, oral or diagram)

Strong communication skills: written and verbal. Experience communicating with business clients

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both onsite and remotely

Maintain a high degree of professionalism in all actions, demeanor and dress

Salary: $20 per hour

Must have a valid driver’s license
